Plastic Surgery
Charles Nathan, MD, FACS
Dr. Nathan earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. After completing 5 years of general surgery training at The Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Dr. Nathan became a board-certified general surgeon. He then completed plastic surgery training at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, which included rotations at the esteemed Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital.
Christian Prada, MD, FACS
Dr. Prada earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center. He completed a general surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California before completing a 2-year fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Prada then received additional fellowship training in breast and cosmetic surgery under Dr. Spear and Dr. Little.
Dr. Prada returned to St. Louis in 2004 as an assistant professor in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Saint Louis University Hospital, teaching both medical students and residents. He helped teach a course for physicians on eyelid surgery, brow lifts, and mid-facelifts.
Herluf Lund Jr., MD, FACS
Dr. Lund earned his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine before completing general surgical training at the University of Texas in Houston. He returned to St. Louis for his plastic surgery residency at Washington University, where he actively engaged in numerous research projects, including on the safety and design of breast implants.
One of Dr. Lund’s surgical specialties is rapid recovery techniques for breast augmentation, and he’s served as a principle investigator in studies using the next generation of cohesive gel breast implants.
